Founders Bio
Jane Shekman founded JS Healthcare Advisory after a successful exit from LifeCare, a company she co-founded and scaled to become a leading home health, home nursing, homecare rehabilitation care, and home and community-based service provider.
Her career is hallmarked by innovation, the introduction of new concepts, and new methodologies in post-acute care. Her track record is highlighted by working with industry leaders and early adopters to pioneer new and advanced concepts.
After a successful exit from LifeCare, Jane pursued a certification as a Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) to assist other business owners in developing strategies for exit planning, as well as company valuations and due diligence efforts for company acquisitions.
Jane continues her strategic guidance for companies and boards in healthcare, wellness, aging, life sciences, and technology industries on strategic planning, product/ services positioning for maximized revenue growth, technological innovation, operational efficiencies, and regulatory compliance.
She holds a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy. She is a standing member of the American Association of Healthcare Executives, holds a Fellow certification (FACHE), and is a certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor.
Jane enjoys traveling with her family and two children and playing golf. Jane is an LPGA Amateur Golf Association member and keeps busy playing on the traveling team as weather permits in Chicago.
